Sparkle

International Champion

GoldenQuest's Sparkle Plenty

TDI, CGC

(Sparkle)

Sparkle's pedigree and clearances

Sparkle's father is ENG CH Paudell Easter Plantagenet At Kerrien, OS (Outstanding Sire), Fred. He was the top stud dog in the United Kingdom for 1993, 1999 and 2000. Fred's semen has been shipped all over the world and produced champions in many countries. This is the first time it had ever been shipped to the USA.

Fred

The British goldens have so much to offer. Sparkle is a wonderful blend of the English type and British type golden. Her density of bone structure is better than most American-bred goldens but not so stocky as to be a problem in the conformation ring. She has a wonderful English head and I can see her father in her eyes. We have great hopes for Sparkle and think she will shine with the best that both her English-bred father, Fred and her American-bred mother, Gracie, has to offer. I eventually hope that we can breed the best in the USA to the best in the UK and produce the best of both worlds.

GoldenQuest's How Sweet

(Sweety)

Sweety's pedigree and clearances

Sweety has her eyes, heart, elbow and hip clearances.  Both her mother (Sparkle) and her father (Conner) are International champions, therapy dogs, canine good citizens and Pennhipped at 90% (see above).  Sweety's grandparents are Tigger and Gains.

Tigger

Tigger is arguably one of the best-loved "showgirls" of the last decade, Tigger, even at 10 at the 2004 Golden National stunned the crowd with her performance, which earned her Best Opposite Sex in Veterans from the 10-12 class.

She has been an exciting producer, with get who are themselves on the way to being outstanding producers. Tigger completed her championship at the tender age of 18 months with limited showing.  She is a multiple Group Winning bitch and was the #3 Golden Retriever bitch nationally in the USA in 1997.  She is a show dog hall of fame dog (SHDF),  outstanding dam (OD), and an AKC champion.

Offspring from all the litters have made their mark in the Specials ring at both Specialties and All Breed Competitions.

Tigger has full clearances including an OFA excellent rating.

Gains

Gainsborough has been an exceptional dog from the beginning. From the first Sunbeam litter that we bred, four of the five puppies in this litter, including Gains, were OFA Excellent.  He finished his championship easily with very limited showing.  He is a multiple Best in Show Winner and was twice a Top Twenty Golden.  He is a shod dog hall of fame dog (SHDF), outstanding sire, and an AKC champion.  Gains has produced champion and show dog hall of fame pups.

Although Gains has not been used extensively, his production record has been impressive. He is a stunning dog and continues to get better. In October 2004 he won the 10-12 Veterans Class in both Sweeps and Regular classes at the GRCA National Specialty.

Gains' offspring seem to have the same moderate but extremely sound body style that Gains has and they exhibit his wonderful, free-flowing movement. One of his earliest get, Ch. Toasty Sting Like A Bee SDHF won the Eukanuba competition in 2002 and is himself a wonderful producer.

Gains has full clearances including an OFA excellent rating.
